Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the Apicella Winery to begin our tour of this location in Tramonti, one of the pioneering areas of viticulture on the Amalfi Coast.

We'll first learn about the history of the winery and the A' Scippata family, who owns the estate. Afterwards, we'll visit the vineyards, whose vines benefit from the Mediterranean winds coming from the Gulf of Salerno. A few kilometres away, we also find the Vesuvius National Park, which gives the soil unique properties too.

After visiting the vineyards, we'll head inside the winery, where we'll learn about the elaboration process of wine. We'll also discover the different fermentation and ageing processes between red and white wines. You'll be real experts by the end of this tour!

The tour of this winery will finish with a tasting of local wines paired with a selection of typical products from Tramonti, including cheese and cured meats. While you try different varieties of wine, you'll learn about their unique characteristics, appreciating the perfect balance between tradition and innovation that makes Apicella wines so distinctive.

The wine tasting will mark the end of our 2-hour wine tour.
