Day Trip to Rupit and Besalú
We'll meet at the bus station in Tossa de Mar and from there we'll take a comfortable bus journey to the medieval city of Rupit.
After an hour and a half long journey, we'll reach Rupit, a charming medieval town with its characteristic stone houses. You'll have time to explore at your own leisure, cross the famous hanging bridge, wander along its cobblestone pedestrian streets and admire its beautiful natural surroundings. Here we'll also enjoy a typical local lunch.
Once you've explored Rupit, we'll head to the Santuario de la Mare de Déu dal Far sanctuary, found over 1000 metres above sea level. You'll be able to take in the stunning views and we'll visit the chapel and find out more about its history.
We'll continue our trip to another charming medieval city, Besalú. Don't forget to check out its incredible bridge!
After discovering these medieval wonders, we'll head back to our meeting point in Tossa de Mar.
