Torun Medieval Port Boat Tour
Torun Medieval Port Boat Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll be waiting for you at the medieval port of Torun. There, we'll board a traditional wooden boat for a tour of this part of the Polish city. Ready for a trip back in time?
We'll cruise along the Vistula River through the old town, spotting enchanting and important historical monuments on the way. One such is Dybów Castle, a 15th century fortress that still has one of its towers and imposing walls standing.
We'll also sail past Torun Cathedral, a brick Gothic church that houses the third largest bell in the world, known as the Bell of God. We'll then see the old city walls, the famous Monastery Gate and the 13th century leaning tower of Torun.
Another memorable landmark on the cruise of Torun's medieval port is a treasure that dates back more than 500 years: the Bridge Gate, an impressive structure with a beautiful pointed arch and crowned with battlements.
Finally, at the end of a 50 minute boat tour, we'll disembark at the starting point.
