Are you in Tortuguero and looking for an authentic experience in Costa Rica's jungle? In that case, we'll meet in front of the football field in the area to begin this hiking trail by night. Let's go on an adventure!
After a brief introduction about the trip, we'll hand out the torches and set off, venturing into the Tortuguero Jungle. Did you know that the majority of animals in tropical jungles are more active at night? Exciting, right?
In the darkness and silence of the night, the noises made by animals between the leaves and branches will become more evident. Stay alert, because we'll show you how to identify frogs, snakes, sloths, iguanas, armadillos, and spiders. If we're lucky, we even might spot a rodent or perhaps a sighting of the popular peccaries or tatabros.
Lastly, we'll say our goodbyes at the initial starting point after 2 to 3 hours hiking.
