Description
Day 1
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the La Pavona Pier and board a boat that will take us across the Suerte River, the gateway to the Tortuguero River.
We'll explore the waters of the national park, admiring the nature typical of the Costa Rican riverside. At around 12 noon, we'll reach the lodge where we'll spend the night. Are you ready to sleep in the Costa Rican jungle? It will be an unforgettable experience!
After settling into your rooms, we'll meet again at the hotel restaurant to refuel with a delicious lunch. Then, we'll travel to the town of Tortuguero for a complete tour, perfect for discovering all the traditions and unique aspects of this small coastal town.
Finally, we'll return to the lodge where we'll rest until the next day.
Day 2
First thing in the morning, we'll head to Tortuguero National Park for an excursion in which we'll explore all of its natural attractions. We'll discover the different species of flora and fauna found in the park, as well as the beaches where turtles nest. You'll be fascinated!
Later, we'll return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. With our stomachs full, we'll leave the lodge and return to the boat that will take us back to the starting point, where we'll finish the tour around midday.
3-Day Tour
If you feel like spending an extra night in Tortuguero, we recommend booking the 3-day tour. On this tour, on the second day, after breakfast, we'll visit Tortuguero National Park.
After lunch at the lodge, we'll finish the day with a hike around the lodge. We'll walk along the trails, gardens and deserted beaches of the area. You'll love being in direct contact with nature!
Finally, on the third day, we'll make our way back to the starting point after breakfast.

This tour includes 1 or 2 nights accommodation with full board at Laguna Lodge.
Meeting Point
This tour starts at La Pavona pier. However, the meeting point is subject to the water level of the river, so it may change to the Caño Blanco pier.
