The guide, Álvaro, super nice; the history of Torremolinos very interesting; and the beautiful city. The truth is, we were surprised that there was so much to tell

Torremolinos Private Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in the Plaza de la Nogalera and set off on our private tour of Torremolinos.

We'll begin our private tour will then take us through the La Nogalera neighbourhood. Here, we'll be able to feel the international spirit and community that defines Torremolinos. Next, we'll head to the parish Church of San Miguel Arcángel to explore its interior. Did you know that it's the oldest church in Torremolinos

Afterwards, we'll pause in front of the Pimentel Tower. We'll discuss the links that tie Torremolinos to the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada as we admire this tower, which is over 700 years old.

We'll continue the tour by discovering the temporary exhibition at the centre of touristic interpretation, which follows all of Torremolinos' milestones. Afterwards, we'll see different iconic spots, such as Casa Suecia, the Micaela Hostel and the Tim Willoughby Volcano.

The tour will then take us down El Peligro passage until we reach Casa Los Navajas, a spectacular neo-Mudejar palace. This building was the birthplace of the Navajas family, who cultivated sugar cane in this area.

We'll then return to Plaza de la Nogalera to learn about the atmosphere that was present within the city during the 60s. To finish up, we'll make our way down Begoña Passage, a narrow street which has been declared a site of Historical Memory. Here, at least 50 bars and live music used to be located, many of which were some of the first LGBT-friendly spots in Spain.

After 1.5 hours, we'll bring this private tour to an end at the Begoña Passage.
