Travel to Granada and be seduced by the remarkable Alhambra, considered by many to be the eighth wonder of the world. You'll also visit the Nasrid Palaces and become mesmerised by the Mozarabic art and architecture.
Description
We'll depart from the center of Torremolinos at the designated time and head for Granada, one of the most charming provinces in Andalusia. On the way, we'll tell you a number of interesting facts about this city and the Alhambra, and we'll also make a brief stop for breakfast.
Once in Granada, we'll leave you two hours of free time so you can start exploring the city at your own pace. We recommend visiting the Cathedral and strolling through the Albaicin area, which is known for its Arab-style architecture and feel - one of the most fascinating districts in all of Spain!
Afterwards, we'll meet again to go to the Alhambra, one of the most visited monuments in Europe. We'll spend three hours on a guided tour of this stunning World Heritage Site. Your ticket will include access to the Alcazaba, the Palace of Charles V, the Generalife, and its gardens.
The guide will explain the history of the Nasrid Kingdom in Andalusia, and we'll learn why the conquest of this city was so important for the Catholic Monarchs.
After the guided tour of the Alhambra, we'll return to the bus and arrive in Torremolinos after an exciting ten hours of adventure.
Alhambra + Nasrid Palaces
If you want to make your visit to the Alhambra even more complete, you can add the ticket and the guided tour of the Nasrid Palaces to your tour. This way, you'll be able to see other emblematic areas of the monument, such as the courtyard of the Lions or the Palace of Comares. The only area we'll not visit in this option is the Alcazaba.
Itinerary changes
Sometimes, due to changes in availability, the itinerary might be reversed, i.e., we'll visit the Alhambra complex first, and then we'll leave you free time in the center of Granada.
