We'll meet in front of the Pabellón La Habana Vieja at 9 pm and head to the Udias mines. We hope you're ready to go deep into the bowels of the Earth!
Our journey should only take 20 minutes, after which we'll arrive at our destination and get kitted out in our helmets and caving gear. Let's go!
We'll spend 1 hour 30 minutes exploring Cantabria's largest zinc and lead mine with an expert guide, who'll tell us lots of fun facts about these caves. These mines, which were in operation for almost 80 years, also still have wooden sleepers from the old railway tracks in the tunnel which we'll be able to see.
After marvelling at the mines' karstic formations, we'll return to open air and have a sandwich and a soft drink. We'll then return to Torrelavega, where we'll arrive at 11:30 pm.
