Toronto Scooter Tour
Description
Welcome to Toronto! On the day of the activity, we'll meet on Robertson Crescent Street, where we'll begin this exciting and informative tour. Ready? Let's go!
From this point, we'll embark on a journey through Ontario's capital city's vibrant and historic streets. We'll begin this tour at Fort York, the birthplace of modern Toronto, where you can explore well-preserved military fortifications and learn about Toronto's role in the War of 1812. The strategic location on Lake Ontario once played a significant role in the city's growth from a small settlement to a major metropolis.
After this, we'll ride our scooters to the iconic CN Tower, one of the tallest free-standing structures in the world, where we'll be able to take some amazing photos from the base, or, if you'd fancy, from the observation deck. From here, we'll make our way to the Distillery District, a charming pedestrianized neighborhood known for its well-preserved Victorian industrial architecture.
We'll continue this exciting tour at Riverdale Farm, located in the picturesque Cabbagetown area, where you'll be able to meet friendly animals and learn all about the interesting process of urban agriculture. This hidden gem within the bustling city is a real escape for those looking to relax.
Lastly, we'll explore the vibrant diverse Kensington Market neighborhood, wandering through the streets filled with eclectic shops, colorful murals, and a variety of spots to try some international cuisine. This bohemian area showcases the multicultural essence of Toronto, providing visitors with a rich cultural sensory experience.
Finally, we'll bring this scooter tour to an end back at Fort York after 3 hours together.
