Can you imagine discovering Toro wine in a majestic and historical building? Welcome to the Palacio de Villachica Winery! At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance of this beautiful palace and begin our tour where you'll uncover the secrets of this site and, of course, their wines.
We'll begin by diving into the history of the Villachica Palace, a stunning 18th-century building steeped in the legends of the famous Marquise of Villachica. Did you know that this is where one of the finest Tempranillo wines, representing three of Spain's most renowned Designations of Origin–Toro, Ribera del Duero, and Rioja–is produced?
During the tour, in addition to uncovering the fascinating history of this site, you'll learn all about the wines produced at this winery. You'll also have the chance to explore the Villachica Palace and its facilities, including the processing room, barrel room, packaging area, and bedroom.
After learning the theory behind the secrets of wine, it's time to taste these famous wines. We'll head to the tasting room and enjoy a wine tasting accompanied by a typical snack from the region. Delicious!
Finally, after this 1.5-hour tour, we'll say our goodbyes and conclude this wine tourism experience.
