Located on Miguel de Cervantes Street, in the historic center of Toledo, the Iluziona Museum offers a fun visual experience in the city of the three cultures.
With your ticket to the Iluziona Museum, you'll enjoy 20 optical illusions and trompe l'oeil that are related to art, literature, characters, and legends of Toledo.
In this immersive visit, you'll be able to shoot incredible photographs. You can capture yourself on a flying carpet or take a portrait of yourself upside down in Miguel de Cervantes' office forever.
The museum also houses an area of classic games where you can experience first-hand the concept of optical illusion. You'll be delighted to learn about old gadgets and inventions such as the Zootropic, the Traumatrope, La Toupie Fantoches, or Jacob's Ladder.
Although the estimated duration of the visit is one hour, you can stay in the museum as long as you want.
Opening hours
The Iluziona Museum of Toledo is open during the following hours:
- Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday: from 10 am to 8 pm
- Saturday: from 10 am to 9 pm
- Tuesday & Wednesday: closed
On all days, the last entry is an hour before closing.
Please note that these hours are subject to change and change.
Christmas
From November 30th, 2023 to January 7th, 2024, the museum will be decorated for the holiday season! Prepare for holiday-themed illusions and fun!
