Tokyo Guided Tour
Our complete Tokyo tour begins at the indicated time with a bus tour of the most emblematic neighbourhoods of the Japanese capital. First, we'll head to the Shibuya district, where we'll be surprised by the calm and tranquility of the Meiji Shrine.
Next, we'll head towards the Chiyoda area to see the architecture of the Tokyo Imperial Palace, known as Kōkyo to the locals. This majestic building, the official residence of the Japanese Emperor, is found on the grounds of the ancient Edo fortress: in the oldest part of the city. Here, we'll hear the story of how the small medieval town of Edo became modern-day Tokyo, one of the largest and most cosmopolitan cities on the planet.
The tour then continues by walking around the Akihabara and Harajuku neighbourhoods, a paradise for fans of manga, anime, costumes, cosplay and more!
Then, we'll arrive at the Asakusa neighbourhood, where we'll discover why the Sensoji temple is one of the most popular and iconic spiritual sites, not just in Tokyo, but in the world. In this neighbourhood, we'll also enjoy a delicious matcha tea or matcha ice cream. Afterwards, you'll have free time for lunch in the area.
Following lunch, we'll cross the Sumida River by one of the famous bridges connecting its banks, before arriving at the famous Tokyo Skytree, a 634-metre-high telecommunications tower that dominates the skyline of the Sumida neighbourhood. To enjoy its amazing panoramic views, we'll go up to the 350th floor, where the Tembo Deck viewpoint is located.
After taking in the incredible views, we'll make our way to the city's port to enjoy a tranquil cruise around Tokyo Bay. This 40-minute boat ride will give you another perspective of the Tokyo skyline!
Finally, after 9.5 hours, we'll arrive back at the meeting point.
