Complete Tour of Tokyo

A great tour! Pastor, Cesar and Beltran showed us various points of Tokyo explaining clearly and entertainingly during the 8 hour tour. It was too short for us!! We will most likely book another of the tours they have in the city, depending on our schedule. 10/10 PS: Yamanaka-san is a great driver

Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, Akihabara, and other famous neighborhoods of the Japanese capital are waiting for you on this complete guided tour of Tokyo. It'll be a unique tour to discover all the must-visit sites in one of Asia's most fascinating cities!

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll begin our complete Tokyo tour at the Ginza Station exit. From here, we'll begin an unforgettable bus ride through the main neighborhoods of the Japanese capital

First, we'll explore the streets of Ginza, the district known as the luxurious shopping area in Tokyo. We'll continue our tour heading to the Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest pedestrian intersections in the world. After observing this buzzing site up close, we'll head to a much calmer place in the neighborhood, the Meiji Shrine. This Shinto temple is surrounded by a lush forest, which stands out due to the calm and tranquility it exudes.

Then, we'll set off to the famous district of Shinjuku, which has imposing skyscrapers. Our tour will continue toward the exterior gardens of the Imperial Palace. At this site, called Kökyo in its local language, the emperor of Japan resides. The palace is located on the grounds of the ancient fortress of Edo, the oldest area in the city. You'll learn how the small medieval Edo evolved until it became the Tokyo we know today, one of the most extensive and cosmopolitan cities in the world.

After learning about the past of the Japanese capital, we'll head to the neighborhood of Akihabara, a paradise for anime and technology. From here, we'll continue our route toward Asakusa. In this famous neighborhood, you'll see Sensō-ji from outside, Tokyo's oldest Buddhist temple.

You'll then have about 1 hour of free time in Asakusa to grab a bite to eat. On Nakamis Street, you'll find a wide variety of street food stalls where you can enjoy Japanese cuisine.

The next stop will be at Hama-rikyū Gardens, where we'll enjoy the beautiful scenery of this bucolic urban oasis. Finally, from this park, we'll go to Tokyo Station, where we'll conclude this 8-hour activity.

Tour + Lunch

If you choose this option, you'll enjoy a traditional Japanese lunch in a restaurant in the neighborhood of Asakusa. The menu includes a selection of Japanese specialties, which will vary depending on the availability and the season. It'll be the perfect opportunity to savor delicious asian cuisine!
