Sushi-Making Workshop
Workshop Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Izumiya Akasaka building and we'll get ready to become true itamaes, Japanese chefs. Ready to begin this sushi-making workshop? Time to put on your chef's hat and apron!
After learning how to wash your hands in the traditional way, our first challenge will be to grate fresh wasabi. Pay attention to the chef and do it carefully, or you won't be able to prevent tearing up!
We'll then begin to prepare the rice, one of the key features of sushi. Did you know that the way you shape it can completely change the way it tastes? Once you've mastered this step, you'll be halfway through your journey of becoming true itamaes.
Next, we'll add our fresh ingredients to our rice, straight from Tokyo's bay. We'll use tuna, salmon, prawns, and squid to create 8 different combinations of nigiri and 1 temaki.
Now, it's time to taste your creations! Additionally, you'll have the option to include a sake tasting to end this exquisite culinary experience on a high.
Before ending our 2-hour workshop, you'll be able to head up to the counter and take some photos to remember the experience by.

During the booking process, you can choose between two options, each of which has been designed to cater to different tastes:
