    The guide, Marisa was super nice, she was on time, organised and had great English. The schedule was perfect and we not only had a fantastic view of Mount Fuji, as the weather was very bright and sunny. We loved the lake boat trip and also the pagoda, it was a great day out for a very good price. Thank you to everyone involved.

How to visit Mount Fuji

Book a day trip with Civitatis to get the best views of Japan's highest peak. The best views of Mount Fuji are generally enjoyed from Hakone (which is also home to some of the nation's top-rated onsen) or Lake Kawaguchi.

Climbing Mount Fuji

If you want to climb to Japan's highest peak, 3776 metres (12,389 ft), keep in mind that the climb is open to climbers only from early July until September.

While these locations provide some of the best views of the mountain, poor visibility will often mean that you still won't be able to see Mount Fuji. Generally, the best visibility can be enjoyed in the autumn and winter months.
