Tour Options
Get ready to hit the streets of Tokyo behind the wheel of a go-kart! We'll meet at a central point, where your driving credentials will be checked, and a brief safety briefing will be provided. For those eager to enhance the experience, we offer the option to dress up in provided cosplay costumes. Once geared up, we'll kick off the Tokyo tour – rev up those engines! Each participant will drive their individual go-kart, following the guide's vehicle through the bustling city.
Below you'll find a brief description of each tour:
1-hour Asakusa Tour
Are you ready to drive a go-kart through the streets of Tokyo? To do so, we will meet at the appointed time at Mukojima 1 Chome-25-2. Let's start our engines!
During the one-hour tour, we'll discover the main sights of the Japanese capital on a route that turns the modern city into a car racing scene. We will pass by the Sensoji Temple, the Kaminarimon Gate, and the lively Ameyoko Market in Ueno and delve into the pop culture of Akihabara. We'll also sneak a peek at Ueno Park and Kappabashi Street, famous for its kitchenware stores, before ending the tour at the same meeting point.
2-hour Asakusa Tour
If you choose this tour option, we'll meet up at 2-18-15 Azumabashi Sumidaku, to begin our tour of Asakusa, full of business buildings, shrines, parks, and markets.
Our journey begins by heading to Toyosu Bay, unveiling diverse Tokyo districts such as Ginza, Kanda, Akihabara, Ueno, Asakusa, and the towering Tokyo Sky Tree. Don't miss out on this extraordinary chance to navigate Tokyo's streets in style!

Finally, after a ride of approximately 2 hours, we'll conclude the tour by returning to the meeting point.
1.5-hour Shibuya Tour
With this tour, we'll meet at 5 Chome-11-19 Shinjuku Shinjuku City at the indicated time to start our tour at Shinjuku Gyoen and Shinjuku Gate entrance.
The tour will take us through the most iconic places in Shibuya, like Shibuya Crossing, Omotesando Street, and Harajuku, the epicenter of fashion and youth culture. Then, we'll visit Yoyogi Park and Kabukicho before admiring the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building.
After 1.5 hours of sightseeing, we'll bring the tour to an end back at the meeting point.
2-hour Shibuya Tour
We'll start this tour at 42 Kandahigashimatsushitacho Chiyoda City. Once we get familiar with our vehicles, we'll go on a tour that combines the thrill of driving a kart with a visit to the most iconic places in Tokyo.
Throughout the tour, we'll visit the Imperial Palace, Omotesando, and the famous Shibuya crossing. We'll also visit Roppongi and the emblematic Tokyo Tower. We'll follow the same itinerary described above until we reach Tokyo Station and then end our 2-hour tour back at the meeting point.
Requirements for the activity
On the day of the activity, you must bring the following documents in physical format, valid and in force:
- Driver's license from your country of origin. It's important to note that the country issuing the driver's license must be on the list of signatory states of the Geneva Convention of 1949. If your driving licence is issued by Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Estonia or Monaco, you'll have to submit an authorised official translation in Japanese (via the Online Application for Japanese Translation JAF). In addition, a SOFA (US military) driving licence is also permitted.
- AAA IDP (International Driving Permit). This permit must be the original, it cannot be printed.
- Passport
Important: if, on the day of the activity, you do not bring the necessary documentation in its original form (photos or paper photocopies are not accepted), you won't be allowed to participate in the tour, and no refunds will be issued. In addition, please note that international driving licences issued under the Vienna Convention of 1968 are not accepted in Japan.
