Leave behind the bright lights and hustle-bustle of Tokyo for a day and instead immerse yourself in the natural scenery that surrounds the famous Mount Fuji. An unmissable opportunity to experience the iconic Japanese symbol by land, sea and air.
Mount Fuji Day Trip
Experiencing the iconic Mount Fuji, Japan's most revered symbol, is a must on your trip to Tokyo. We'll begin by meeting at the designated location, then take a bus to the Fifth Fuji Station, the gateway to exploring this breathtaking natural wonder.
After a short 2-hour drive, we'll arrive at the port, where you can take in an incredible panoramic view of Mount Fuji from over 2,000 meters (6,561 feet) above sea level. Following this, we'll head to a local restaurant near Mount Fuji to enjoy a buffet-style lunch.
As we continue soaking up this incredible view, we'll reach Hakone, where you’ll be treated to a stunning panoramic view of Mount Fuji perfectly merging with Lake Ashi—an absolutely breathtaking sight! The image of Mount Fuji reflected in the lake is one that will stay with you forever.
Next, we'll soar above the landscape in the Hakone cable car, offering us aerial views of the national park. Our journey will bring us to the summit of Owakudani, a valley nestled within an active volcanic area.
To conclude this excursion on a high note, we'll embark on a relaxing boat ride across Lake Ashi, a body of water formed by a volcanic eruption over 3,000 years ago. From the boat's deck, we'll take in the rugged and stunning landscape of the region.
After a full day of breathtaking views of Mount Fuji, we'll head back to Tokyo, wrapping up this 10-11-hour tour.
