We'll begin our journey at the selected time at the steps of the Opera House, located in the city center. From here, we'll embark on an exciting free tour, exploring some of the most significant landmarks in Albania’s capital.
Our first stop will be Skanderbeg Square, where we'll admire the stunning mosaic on the façade of the National History Museum. We'll also take in the iconic surrounding structures, such as the National Gallery of Arts, the Bunk'Art 2 Museum, and the historic Dajti Hotel.
Next, we'll wander through the charming streets of Tirana's city center, crossing the Lana River as we head toward the striking Pyramid of Tirana. Here, you'll discover the intriguing history behind this unique building and its place in Albania's past.
Our tour will then take us to the former Communist Party headquarters, where we'll dive into the stories of those who once lived behind its walls. We'll also visit the lively Blloku area, once restricted to the communist elite, now a vibrant hub of cafes, restaurants, and shops.
Additionally, we'll admire some of Tirana's most significant religious landmarks, including the newly built Great Mosque of Tirana, the Namazgjah Mosque, and the Resurrection of Christ Orthodox Cathedral.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, concluding the free tour after approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
