We'll pick you up at 8 am at your hotel to go to the district of Castillo Grande, about 35 minutes from Tingo María.
Once we arrive at the small town of Sinchi Roca, we'll begin a 20-minute walk through the jungle to the magnificent Vulcano cavern. Did you know that it is also known as Cueva de los Mil Encantos ("Cave of a Thousand Charms")? We'll discover this and many other curiosities during our tour.
This deep grotto was discovered and named in 1997 by Silvia Zamora, a famous promoter of tourist attractions in the region. Inside the cave, there are all kinds of formations, including stalactites and stalagmites, as well as underground rivers and lagoons.
During the tour, we'll explore the interior and exterior of the cave, which is surrounded by lush vegetation. The tropical trees and moss create a magical environment around the cave and make it a perfect place to take incredible photographs.
At the end of the tour, we'll drop you off at your hotel around 1 pm.
