Tingo María National Park Tour
At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up at your hotel and take you to Tingo María National Park, located south of the city of the same name.
This natural reserve covers an area of 4,777 hectares of jungle vegetation and includes the mountain range known as La Bella Durmiente (Sleeping Beauty), as well as a system of subway caverns. During the tour, we'll admire these famous mountains and reveal the legend behind their fantastic name.
The first stop of the tour will be in Cueva de Las Lechuzas (Cave of the Owls), a karstic cavern formed by stalactites and stalagmites that houses unexplored galleries. Its tunnels are inhabited by all kinds of native species, such as bats, guacharos, parrots and swallows. Do you dare to enter?
After the visit to the cave, we'll go to a handicrafts center in the park to learn about the works of the locals Indigenous Peoples. Then we'll stop at Aguas Sulfurosas natural spa, a thermal complex known for the healing properties of its waters.
Finally, after five hours of exploring Tingo María National Park, we'll return to your hotel.
