Honolulo Waterfall Excursion
We'll pick you up at your accommodation in Tingo Maria at 8 am. Once gathered, we'll head south to Honolulo waterfall, one of the natural wonders of this region of central Peru.
To access the reserve where the waterfall is located, we'll first cross a suspension bridge over the Huallaga River. From here, we'll begin a 1.5-hour walk following a pedestrian path into the heart of the jungle, leading us to the magnificent Honolulo waterfall.
This 98.5 ft (30 meters) high waterfall is surrounded by a stunning environment: natural pools of crystal clear water, lush vegetation, and impressive rock formations.
You'll have some free time to enjoy the waterfall and explore the area. You can search for the wildlife that inhabit this tropical forest, such as butterflies, spiders, or birds like the oilbird or the Andean cock-of-the-rock!
Finally, we'll walk back to where the transport will be waiting for us to head back to Tingo Maria. Arrival at your respective hotels is scheduled for 2 pm.
