With this one-day pass you'll be able to take a full-day trip on the BLS boats that sail on the Thun and Brienz lakes. Both lakes are located in the Swiss region of Bern, located north of the Alps.

In both lakes, navigation is free. The boat will make several stops on the lakeshore, where you can get on and off as many times as you want during a full day.

Thun Lake Boat Ride

Lake Thun, of glacial origin, is located between the city of the same name and the town of Interlaken.

You can start your trip from the towns of Thun, Spiez or Interlaken. Whatever your choice, you'll be able to get off at any of the stops on the shores of Lake Thun.

On the shores of the lake you'll find several tourist attractions, including the castles of Hünegg, Oberhofen or Schadau, among others.

Timetable and duration

The crossing takes place all year round. These are the schedules of the boat trip on Lake Thun.

The total duration of the crossing of Lake Thun is 4 hours and 40 minutes.

If you wish to do both the Lake Thun tour and the Lake Brienz crossing in the same day (the total duration of both routes is approximately 8 hours), it's best to start the tour from the city of Thun. Once you have crossed the lake of the same name, you can then continue to Interlaken Ost to start the crossing of Lake Brienz.

Lake Brienz Boat Ride

Lake Brienz is a lagoon of glacial origin located between the town of the same name and the city of Interlaken.

On your boat trip, which you can start in Interlaken or Brienz, you'll enjoy the unique landscapes of the Swiss region of Bern.

Among the main tourist attractions that you can find on the shores of Lake Brienz are the Giesbach Falls, spectacular waterfalls that will undoubtedly leave you with your mouth open.

The boat trip on Lake Brienz is not operational between mid-October and early April. During the rest of the year, these are the schedules.

The duration of the trip on Lake Brienz is 2 hours and 40 minutes. If you only want to enjoy this tour, you can book the boat trip on Lake Brienz.
