Villages in Northern Portugal

At 9:30 am, we'll meet at São João street in Terras do Bouro and, from there, we'll embark on a journey to the most charming villages in northern Portugal. Let's go!

We'll stop in Mixões da Serra, where we'll visit the church of São Antônio. This sanctuary is a highlight in this region for its festivities to celebrate the blessing of the animals. Curious to know the origins of this celebration? We'll learn all about it on this tour.

Then, we'll go to the small village of Ponte da Barca, crossed by the Lima river. There, we'll discover its 16th-century bridge and its charming old town. Then we'll stop in Arcos de Valdevez, a town surrounded by green landscapes where we'll be able to admire its traditional manor houses.

Next, we'll head for the Ecovia do Vez, a set of footbridges, rivers, and valleys belonging to Sistelo, considered the Portuguese 'Tibet' by many. We'll stop at different places to admire the incredible beauty of this spot, take pictures and take a dip in these beautiful waters.

Our next stop will be in Soajo so you can have lunch on your own. After lunch, we'll stop at the Estrica viewpoint, from where we'll have extraordinary views of Alto Minho - the perfect finishing touch to this tour.

Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel between 4:30 and 5:30 pm.
