Hills of Tucumán Tour
We'll depart at 1:30 pm from your hotel in Termas de Río Hondo in the direction of the Argentinean province of Tucumán, where beautiful natural landscapes await us.
The first stop on the route will be on the shores of the El Cadillal dam, where we'll see how the green mountains of the area are reflected in the waters of this lake. The surrounding hills of Tucumán, whose thick vegetation and picturesque scenery make this region worthy of a postcard.
We'll continue our excursion to San Javier Hill, a hill located on the outskirts of San Miguel de Tucumán, where we'll see the colossal sculpture of the Blessed Christ of the Hills. The statue is no less than 28 metres high (98 feet), and is one of the main works of the Tucuman sculptor Juan Carlos Iramain.
After enjoying the views from the San Javier Hill, where you can take some spectacular photographs of Tucumán, we'll cross a beautiful rainforest landscape until we reach Villa Nogues.
In this last locality, we'll make another stop where you can snap some more shots of the Tucuman hills. The magnificent views of its mountainous surroundings will be a sight that you'll never forget!
Finally, from Villa Nogues we'll return to your hotel in Termas de Río Hondo, where we'll arrive at 8 pm.
