Pedro II Tour
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Teresina and make our way to the city of Pedro II, located in the region of Serra dos Matões. The journey by minibus will take about 3 hours.
During the day, we'll explore both the old town of Pedro II, as well as its natural areas. The waterfalls of Salto Liso, where you'll be able to take a dip, and the Morro do Gritador viewpoint will feature in the first part of this tour. You won't be able to stop taking photos!
In addition, passing through the more modern area of the city, we'll see the colonial-style houses and the Tertuliano Brandão Filho Memorial, a building that has been categorized as a Cultural Heritage Site in the state of Piau. Moreover, the story of how this city's name first came about, being named after one of Brazil's most important emperors.
We'll recount the history of these lands, and to gain an even further understanding, we'll visit Buritizinho, a rural town where the traditional ways of life have been kept alive.
Finally, we'll return to our vehicle and make our way back to the hotels 8 hours after the tour's initial start time.
