Description
We'll pick you up from Fray Junípero Serra Hotel in Tepic to kick off our day trip to San Blas, a municipality situated in the Mexican state of Nayarit.
Upon reaching our destination, we'll take an enjoyable boat ride through the lush mangroves, keeping our eyes peeled for crocodiles, birds, and river turtles in their undisturbed natural habitat.
As we continue sailing, we'll visit a freshwater spring that houses a crocodile farm. Here, you'll gain valuable insights into the care and conservation efforts of these remarkable reptiles.
Our next destination will be the San Blas fort, perched atop Contaduría hill. We'll delve into its history and take in the expansive panoramic views. Then, we'll sit down for an à la carte style lunch featuring a selection of meat, fish, chicken, or seafood dishes. This is your opportunity to savor the most authentic regional flavors!
After lunch, we'll be treated to a demonstration of the traditional preparation of banana bread and other typical desserts. Before wrapping up the tour, we'll make a final stop at the San Blas pier, offering a serene view of the sea, an excellent way to end the day.
Finally, we'll leave San Blas behind and return to our starting point after 8 hours of natural and cultural adventure.
