An exceptional site. I didn't use the little train that goes to the site for free every 20 minutes, as the hotel was very close and the little train only stops at the beginning and end of the route, not in between. It's very quick to get in if you already have your ticket in advance. The map they give you when you take the photo is very easy to understand. The only bad thing is that for the shows it's difficult to get in if the park is full, so on holiday it will be almost impossible. The one with the orcas is bad.

Considered by many to be the best zoo in the world thanks to its perfect combination of exotic flora and worldwide fauna, Loro Parque is a must when you visit Tenerife. The park houses incredible animals including jaguars, gorillas and tigers; as well as unusual birds. One of the highlights of this wildlife park is the Lion’s Kingdom, home to three lions from Angola, a lion subspecies in danger of extinction.

The zoo is named “Parrot Park” after the colorful parrots and macaws that reside in this park. Another popular part of the zoo is the Orca Ocean, where you can enjoy a show with six killer whales.

Loro Parque is also home to seals, dolphins and even sharks and a varied vegetation with tropical palm trees and beautiful orchids.

Children will have great fun at Kinderlandia, an African village packed with slides, hanging bridges and tree houses.

Situated in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz, you can take a free train that departs from Plaza de Los Reyes Católicos.

Un sitio excepcional. No hice uso del trencito que lleva hasta el sitio de forma gratuita cada 20 minutos, ya que el hotel era bien cerca y el trencito solo hace parada al inicio y final de recorrido, no intermedias. Bien rápido para entrar si ya tienes tu entrada de antemano. El mapa que te entregan al hacerte la foto es bien fácil de entender. Lo único malo es que para los shows se hace difícil entrar si el parque está lleno, así que en vacaciones será casi imposible. El de las orcas es malo. Translate this opinion into English.

El parque está muy bien, pero en agosto estaba totalmente masificado. Disfrutar de los espectáculos era una carrera de fondo para llegar a las colas. Las áreas de picnic son 2 con 5 mesas cada una, insuficiente. Tapón para entrar para hacerse la foto de la entrada y tapón para salir aunque no quieras recogerla, de nuevo innecesario. The park is very nice, but in August it was totally overcrowded. Enjoying the shows was a long-distance race to get in line. There are 2 picnic areas with 5 tables each, which is not enough. You have to wear a cap to get in to take a photo at the entrance and a cap to get out even if you don't want to pick it up, again unnecessary.
