Jerusalem Day Trip
After collecting you from your hotel in Tel Aviv, we will head to Jerusalem, one of the most fascinating cities in the Middle East. First things first, we'll head to Mt. Scopus, one of the best places to see stunning views of Jerusalem.
We continue to the old town, where we discover the Jewish quarter and follow the ancient Cardo Roman road, which is today is one of the principal commercial areas in the city. And we'll see the Wailing Wall the last remains of the Temple of Jerusalem still standing today.
In the Cristian quarter, we will visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the place where Jesus was finally crucified after walking down the Via Dolorosa. On this symbolic street, we will visit the different Stations of the Cross.
Then you'll have an hour of free time to get some lunch in one of the many restaurants in the area. Then, refulled, we'll continue our tour around the modern part of the city, visiting such iconic places as the Parliament of Israel or the Holocaust Museum.
After discovering the most recent history of Jerusalem, we will begin our journey back to Tel Aviv, dropping you off at your hotel at approximately 5:15 pm.
Important information
- On Saturdays and public holidays, the visit to the Museum of the Holocaust will be substituted for a visit to the Miskenot Sha´ananim, the first Jewish neighbourhood in the outskirts of the ancient city of Jerusalem.
