Feel the legacy of the past with this trip that will take you to the holy sites of Jerusalem and to the city of Bethlehem, the birthplace of Christ.
Jerusalem and Bethlehem Day Trip
Around seven in the morning, we'll pick you up from your hotel and just an hour away find ourselves in the holy city of Jerusalem.
First, we'll stop at Mount Scopus, from where we'll enjoy some stunning views of the city. Then, we'll head down to discover the Garden of Gethsemani, the Church of all nations, and the Kidron Valley: each one steeped in the history of Jerusalem.
From here we head into the Jewish quarter to visit the Western Wall and learn more about the history of the ancient temple of Jerusalem - as well as HaKardo, a typical Roman thoroughfare.
Inside the Christian quarter, we'll stroll along the Via Dolorosa towards the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Here you will witness the artistic works that are in homage to the suffering and resurrection of Christ.
When we have finished the tour of Jerusalem, we'll climb back on the bus and drive to Bethlehem where we'll visit Manger Square, a scene of the adoration of the Magi who followed the star of the East. Next to this square, we'll find the Basilica of the Nativity. One of its underground caves will show us the place of the birth of Jesus.
After visiting Bethlehem, we'll start our return bus trip to your hotel in Tel Aviv, arriving at 5:15 pm.
