Description

At the scheduled time, you'll be picked up from the Hostel Abraham in Tel Aviv and from there, we'll make our way towards the Palestinian territory of the West Bank.

After traversing the Judeaen mountains, we'll arrive at Hebron, one of the oldest cities in the Middle East. We'll begin our tour of this fascinating city by visiting the Jewish side of the Tomb of the Patriarchs. According to tradition, in this sacred Jewish place, Catholic and Muslim couples are buried here: Abraham and Sara, Isaac and Rebeca, and Jacob and Lea.

We'll continue our tour of Hebron by heading to the Jewish neighbourhood, where we'll visit the Abraham Avinue Synagogue. In this temple, which dates back to the middle of the 16th century, we'll learn about the events it has witnessed throughout history. After, we'll make our way to the Beit Hadassah & Hebron Visitor Centre to continue discovering this city's past.

The tour route will continue in the Beit Romano Yeshivat Shavei Khevron, a centre dedicated to the study and divulsion of Hebrew culture. The next stop will take place at the Tel Rumeida archaeological site, where we'll see the diverse vestiges from the Chalcolithic period. After learning of its history, we'll return to the Hebron centre where you'll be able to have some lunch.

After eating, we'll return to the Tomb of the Patriarchs to visit the Muslim side and appreciate the differences relative to the Jewish side. We'll discover the differences and similarities between the two, after which we'll make our journey back to Tel Aviv.

We'll arrive back at the meeting point after around 12 hours.
