Experience it for yourself on a private tour of one of its largest cities: the ancient Iranian metropolis of Tehran. We'll pick you up from your hotel at 9 am, ready to discover the capital's most important monuments and landmarks. Our first stop will be at the majestic Golestan Palace. Marble thrones, elegant golden galleries, intricately carved chambers, halls of sparkling mirrors... you'll be truly captivated by this UNESCO World Heritage Site!
We'll continue our private tour of Tehran visiting the National Museum of Iran, where your English-speaking guide will explain fascinating facts about the history of the country and the different peoples who have lived here. Travel through Iranian history as you discover the diverse archaeological artefacts before visiting the nearby Museum of Glassware and Ceramics.
Our next stop will be at another very special exhibition: the Treasury of National Jewels. You'll be dazzled by the lavish gems and jewellery glittering throughout the museum! After our in depth look at Tehran’s fascinating museums, we'll get a feel for the lively pace of daily life in the city next as we delve into the Grand Bazaar. Whatever you're looking for, you're bound to find it in one of the many stalls of this emblematic market!
Heading to the north of the city, we'll visit two more iconic monuments: the Tajrish Bazaar and the Palace of Niavaran, before making our last stop in the Darband district. Here, you'll have free time to eat lunch at one of the local restaurants overlooking the river (not included). Then, at 5 pm, we'll drop you back off at your hotel.
Tickets not included
This tour does not include entrance to the monuments visited. Depending on the season, the total price of these tickets will be around 800,000 Iranian Rials (approximately 20 US Dollars).
