Milford Sound Excursion

After picking you up at the scheduled time in Te Anau, we'll head north to visit one of New Zealand's most amazing natural wonders: Milford Sound.

The minibus ride to the Milford Sound fjord will take an hour and a half. Along the way, we'll make several stops for photos and short walks that will allow us to admire the incredible landscapes of southern New Zealand.

Lush forests, Lake Te Anau, the stunning Mirror Lakes, and the Eglinton Valley are among the highlights of the first part of our tour.

Continuing along Milford Road, we'll find Gunn Lake and, a short distance away, the Hollyford River and Falls Creek. Once we arrive at our destination, we'll change means of transport and set off on a 2-hour boat ride on Milford Sound. Did you know that this place is a World Heritage Site?

During the cruise, we'll see huge waterfalls cascading down the mountainous walls that surround the fjord. Beauty that can't be put into words! With a bit of luck, we'll also see endemic birds, sea lions, penguins, and even dolphins.

By now you'll have built up an appetite! Before finishing the tour, we'll take some time to relax and replenish our energy with a tasty picnic lunch.

Afterward, we'll return to the mainland, and on the way, we'll make more stops at some viewpoints to get the most amazing pictures.

Lastly, we'll finish the excursion at your hotel in Te Anau 9 hours after pickup.
