Georgian Cooking Class & Lunch
Georgian Cooking Class & Lunch
After picking you up from your hotel at the selected time, we'll embark on a culinary adventure and discover the taste of Georgia. We'll take you to a house on the banks of the Mtkvari River where we'll be welcomed by a local family.
First of all, we'll take part in a Georgian cooking class, in which you'll learn about the traditional dishes of each region of the country and how they are made. Did you know that in the south people eat more meat and drink more wine, and in the west they eat dairy products, vegetables and nuts? We'll find out all about the country's fascinating gastronomical traditions!
We'll then prepare some of the most famous recipes, such as khinkali (dough filled with spiced meat), khachapuri (bread filled with cheese and egg), mtsvadi (roast beef), and an aubergine dish with nuts and spices.
Once the food is ready, we'll take a seat at the table and taste these delicacies in a picturesque setting: a traditional patio surrounded by dense vegetation. In addition, our lunch or dinner will be accompanied by a glass of the region's wine, which is made in the famous qvevri (earthenware jars).
At the end of the experience we'll take you back to your hotel in Tbilisi.
