Join us on our catamaran trip around La Palma from Tazacorte and admire the beauty of the Isla Bonita's coastline. We'll look out for dolphins and whales in their natural habitat and see solidified lava from the Cumbre Vieja volcano.
La Palma Dolphin & Whale Watching on a Glass-Bottom Boat
At the designated time, we'll meet at the port of Tazacorte. Once we've all arrived, we'll board the Fancy II catamaran, a boat with underwater windows that'll allow us to discover all the mysteries hidden in the seabed. Off we go!
We'll sail to the northeastern part of Isla Bonita and admire its underwater life through the boat's glass floor. Get ready to see lots of rays, sharks, colorful fish, black corals, and octopi!
Next, we'll sail through the Atlantic so we can spot some dolphins and whales in their natural habitats. If we're lucky, we'll see dolphins, come across a pod of pilot whales and perhaps even see whales expelling humid air from their blowholes when they come up to the surface.
Before returning to dry land, we'll see some of the solidified lava flows from the Cumbre Vieja volcano's most recent eruption. We'll cast our minds back to the eruption, which lasted 3 months, that took place in 2021 as well as discussing its impact on the island.
Our catamaran trip will finish after a total of 2.5 hours as we arrive back at the port of Tazacorte.
