Would you like to get to know the silver culture of Guerrero? On this excursion to the Ex-Hacienda of San Juan Bautista, we'll explore one of the few medieval ranches in this region dedicated to silver production.

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Calle Juan Ruiz de Alarcón in Taxco and head for the Ex-Hacienda of San Juan Bautista, one of the few medieval-style ranches in the state of Guerrero.
After half an hour's drive to the town of La Meca de la Plata, we'll reach the Ex-Hacienda of San Juan Bautista and begin to learn all about the procedure used to manipulate the silver and metals of the area during the 16th century.
We'll explore this type of castle, discovering the intramural hydraulic system that it possesses. We'll see the aqueduct, the stone mills, and the tanks in which mercury was added to the stones to carry out the extraction of silver.
After getting to know the silver culture of Guerrero, we'll return to the starting point in Taxco and end the tour after a 3-hour excursion.
