Tauranga Skydiving
Description
Ready for this skydiving activity in Tauranga? 30 minutes before the scheduled time, we'll meet at Kittyhawk Way to receive a brief safety chat and get our equipment ready.
Once we have everything ready, we'll hop onto the plane and take a panoramic flight for around 20 to 25 minutes. During the journey, we'll have some impressive views of The Mount and the golden sands that stretch off into the distance.
From the heights, we'll be able to see from the beaches of the Bay of Plenty and Coromandel to the majestic Mount Maunganui and the iconic Isla Blanca. Once we've reached the desired height, the moment of truth will arrive. Time for an adrenaline rush!
We'll experience a free fall for a few seconds, reaching speeds of more than 200 kilometres an hour. Afterwards, the instructor will open the parachute and fly through the Tauranga sky for about 5 minutes until we touch down. Doesn't this sound like a truly unbeatable experience?
Options
When making your booking, you'll be able to choose between the following skydiving options in Tauranga:
- Jump from 3650 metres (11,975 ft.): if you choose this option, you'll enjoy 40 seconds of free falling.
- Jump from 4500 metres (14,763 ft.): with this option, you'll free fall for over 1 minute. This is the best option for the most daring individuals!
