At the time indicated, we'll meet at 36 Taniwha Place and board a vehicle for a short 20-minute ride from Tauranga to our kayaking launch point. Are you ready?
Firstly, we'll head to the starting point. Here, the instructors will give you a brief safety demonstration and offer you some tips on how to best enjoy this watersports activity. Then, it's time to get into our kayaks and start paddling!
On this tour, you'll paddle around this incredible lagoon in Northern New Zealand. We'll have stunning views of the Mangapapa Canyon, where the native bush appears to touch and form a cave. Don't forget your camera as you'll want to capture this amazing landscape!
Along our route, accompanied with a guide, we'll head toward the mouth of the lake and even enter the canyon, where you'll be amazed by the narrow walls. Throughout our journey, we'll also learn about the history of the land that's sure to fascinate you!
After 3 hours of kayaking, we'll head back to the starting point in Tauranga and end the tour.
