Why visit the Romanesque churches of the Vall de Boí?

The complex is made up of eight churches and a hermitage. The entrance ticket allows you to visit the five Romanesque churches that are open to the public: Sant Climent de Taüll, Sant Joan de Boí, Santa Eulàlia d'Erill la Vall, Sant Feliu de Barruera, and the Nativitat de Durro. Also included is the screening of the video mapping that virtually recreates the 12th-century paintings inside the church of Sant Climent de Taüll.
Did you know that these constructions followed designs originating in northern Italy? Specifically, they were built during the 11th and 12th centuries, influenced by the Lombard Romanesque.
