Barcelona Day Trip
Description
Between 8 and 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tarragona and head towards Barcelona. Ready to fall in love with the Catalonian capital?
After an hour and a half drive, we'll reach the capital of the Catalonia region and we'll start a very comprehensive guided tour. First, we'll visit the elegant Passeig de Gràcia, where we'll see Gaudí's works par excellence: Casa Batlló and La Pedrera or Casa Milá.
Next, we'll continue discovering the city walking through the streets of the Gothic Quarter, where we'll visit the iconic Boqueria Market, the old Jewish quarter, the Plaza de San Jaime, and the Cathedral. This walk will take us to Plaza Colón and Port Vell, where Las Ramblas comes to an end.
Anyone hungry? You'll have 1 hour of free time to have lunch in a restaurant in the area at your leisure. After lunch, we'll head to one of the great landmarks of Barcelona: the Sagrada Familia. After we arrive, you'll explore this magnificent work of Gaudí and its breathtaking interior without a guide.
Another of the wonders of the city is Park Güell, a huge garden full of unique architectural elements made, of course, by Antonio Gaudí. Once again, we'll let you explore the park without a guide and at your own pace.
To round off the tour of Barcelona, we'll go to the Plaza de España, where we'll find the Venetian Towers, the National Art Museum of Catalonia, and the Fountains of Montjuïc.
Lastly, we'll return to Tarragona, arriving back at Tarragona at 6 pm approximately.
