Rioja & Moyobamba Day Trip
At the agreed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off to Rioja and Myobamba. During the journey, we'll look out at views of the Alto Mayo Valley's lush green landscapes.
When we get to Moyobambo, we'll visit the Orchidarium and admire the colorful flowers there. We'll then travel to Rioja, which is about 40 minutes away.
In Rioja, we'll visit the source of the Tioyacu River. We'll spend 2 hours walking around this area, and you'll also have some free time to go swimming if you fancy a dip. Don't forget to take a picture on the charming wooden bridge!
We'll return to Moyobambo and have a lunch that'll include a main course and a drink. After we've eaten, we'll head to the hot springs of San Mateo. You'll have around 1 hour of free time to take a dip in the water here, which is said to have healing properties.
The final stop on our day trip will be at a coffee factory in Moyobamba where, as well as learning how this drink is made, we'll taste a cup of delicious Peruvian coffee.
Our day trip will then come to an end as we drop you off back at your hotel 12 hours after the start of the activity.
