After we've picked you up from your hotel in Tarapoto at the designated time, we'll set off on the 30-minute journey by minibus to an amazing place in inland Peru: Alto Shilcayo.
When we get there, we'll hop off the bus and start a 2-hour hike through the beautiful landscapes and natural pools of this area. During our tour we'll admire Alto Shilcayo's flora and fauna, as this place is well-known for being home to a large number of amphibians, birds and medicinal plants.
As we walk through this protected natural area, we'll answer your questions about the things that draw your attention. At the halfway point, we'll come to the Bride's Dress Waterfall and Tamushal, one of the highest points in the staircase mountain range.
Having admired the views from the lookout point and taken a dip in the waterfall pools, we'll have a delicious lunch consisting of a main course and a drink. After we've had something to eat, we'll make our way back to the starting point.
We'll return to your hotel in Tarapoto after a total of 8 hours and say our goodbyes. See you next time!
