Tour Details

Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

We'll start this adventure through Morocco by picking you up from Tangier Airport or your hotel. Ready to start this 7-day route from Tangier to Marrakech?

Once we've all met, we'll make our way directly to the charming blue city of Chefchaouen. Upon arrival, you'll have free time to eat, stroll along its colourful streets, or sign up for this free tour—the best way to explore the city's charms!

The first day will end in a hotel in Chefchaouen, where you can rest up until the following day.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez

Good morning! After a delicious breakfast in the hotel, we'll leave Chefchaouen behind and set off towards Volubilis. Did you know that the best preserved and most visited archaeological ruins in Morocco are found here? You'll have 1 hour and 30 minutes free to admire its mosaics and World Heritage Site temples.

Our route will continue travelling to Meknes, one of Morocco's four imperial cities. Here, you'll have two hours free to discover the monumental Bab El-Mansour gateway, the Sahrij Souani reservoir and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, which you'll love!

After the free time, we'll meet again to head to Fez, where we'll stay in a riad. See you tomorrow!

Day 3: Fez

After breakfast in the hotel, we'll enjoy a full day in Fez. We'll start with a guided tour of the city, known as the cultural captial of Morocco. We'll find out why! First, we'll visit the door of the Royal Palace and the Jewish Quarter, known as the Mellah.

Next, we'll enter the Medina of Fez, the largest in North Africa. Did you know that it is a World Heritage Site? We'll walk through its narrow streets and pass by the Bab Boujloud gate, the Bou Inania Madrasa and the famous Quaraouiyine Mosque.

After the visit, you'll have the afternoon free to continue discovering the city and taste the delicious local cuisine. The day will end back at your accommodation.

Day 4: Fez - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

We'll leave Fez after breakfast and travl south towards the picturesque city of Ifrane. Did you know that it's known as the Switzerland of Morocco for its alpine-style architecture? We'll continue our route through the lush cedar forests of the Atlas Mountains, home to the friendly Barbary macaques.

Afterwards, you'll have free time in Midelt to eat before we continue driving along the Tizi n'Tichka pass. You'll fall in love with the impressive Ziz Valley! Before sunset, we'll arrive at the Merzouga Desert, where we'll be welcomes with a warm mint tea.

Upon arrival, we'll take a leisurely camel ride through the golden dunes to the desert camp. Enjoy a night under the stars with traditional Berber music and a delicious dinner—a unique evening!

Day 5: Merzouga Desert

Welcome to day 5! We'll spend this day discovering the beauty of the Sahara Desert. We'll begin by witnessing an impressive sunrise over the dunes, before enjoying a hearty breakfast.

We'll dedicate the day to exploring the desert by camel, off-roading vehicle, or on foot. We'll also visit a nomadic village to learn about the Berber culture. There, as an option, you can have a delicious traditional lunch. Have you ever tried Berber pizza? You'll love it!

Finally, we'll return to the camp, where we'll spend another magical night under the stars.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert - Todgha Gorge - Dades Valley

After breakfast, we'll leave the Merzouga Desert behind and travel to the impressive Todgha Gorge. We'll pass by the city of Alnif, making some stops to take photos along the way.

Finally, we'll arrive at the Todgha Gorge, known for its spectacular cliffs. There, you'll get yourself some lunch and spend some of the afternoon exploring the area at your own pace. Our adventure will continue in the picturesque Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations and landscape full of palm trees—don't forget to take a photo!

We'll finish the 6th day arriving at our accommodation in Dades Valley.

Day 7: Dades Valley - Marrakech

On the last day of our trip, after breakfast, we'll begin our route towards Ouarzazate, commonly known as the Hollywood of Morocco. The perfect spot for film lovers! There, you'll be able to visit its famous studios.

Afterwards. you'll be able to join an optional guided tour in English of the iconic Aït Benhaddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Do you know which movies have been filmed here? We'll drive along the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass, in the High Atlas Mountains, and we'll make a stop so you can get yourself some lunch and take photos along the way.

Finally, we'll arrive in Marrakech, where we'll drop you off at your hotel or at the airport, bringing these 7 unforgettable days in Morocco to an end.

This activity includes 6 nights of accommodation with breakfast in the following 3-star hotels and riads:

  • Chefchaouen (1 night): Hotel Balcon Bleu or Hotel Tarek
  • Fez (2 nights): Riad Jeanne or Riad Farah
  • Merzouga (2 nights): Riad Dar Soukaina or Les Jardins Mandaline
  • Dades Valley (1 night): Riad Gabsi Du Dades or Panorama Dades

Children aged 6-12 will have a discount compared to the adult price, but they must share the room with their parents or companions. Only one child is allowed in each double room. Children under 6 travel free of charge, but must share a bed with adults.

Important: Schedules & Flights

When booking your outbound flight to Tangier, please note that pickup is at 10 am. Therefore, your arrival flight cannot be later than 8 am. To avoid unforeseen circumstances, we recommend that you book yourself a night in a hotel in Tangier the day before the tour starts.

On the other hand, on the last day of the tour, we'll arrive in Marrakech around 12 pm. Once there, we can drop you off at the airport or any other place in the city. Therefore, if you're flying out of Marrakech Airport on the last day of the tour, you should not book a flight before 3 pm.
