We'll meet up at the Tampere train station at the designated time to embark on an exciting adventure on one of the picturesque lakes surrounding this Finnish city. Get ready for an exciting kayaking experience!
We'll begin with a leisurely 20-minute walk through the city, taking in the sights of historic churches and other notable landmarks, until we reach the stunning Pyhäjärvi Lake. There, we'll do a quick safety briefing and give some essential tips for paddling techniques. Then, the real fun begins.
Setting off on our kayak tour of Tampere, we'll immerse ourselves in the beauty of Finnish nature. As we navigate the lake, we'll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding forests and the charming islands dotting Lake Pyhäjärvi.
Enjoy the serene atmosphere and take a moment to appreciate the tranquility of these landscapes. We'll make a stop at Viikinsaari, a small island known for its recreational facilities, including a beach, saunas, theater, and even a chapel. Here, we'll refuel with some snacks before returning to the center of Tampere.
After a memorable three to four-hour tour, depending on the group's pace, we'll bid farewell and head back to our starting point.
