We'll pick you up from the Zhongxiao Xinsheng metro station in Taipei at the time indicated, and start our day trip to Jiufen, in the northeast of Taiwan. Let's go!
After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes of travelling, we'll have reached our destination. This old town is famous for its houses built on the cliffs of the mountain so that its balconies hang off the cliffs.
During our visit to Jiufen, we'll uncover the important history of the town, which was the main centre for gold extraction on the island. Plus, as the sun starts to set, we'll admire how the streets become lit up with red lanterns that hang from the roofs of houses.
We'll also head to some of the main points of interest near Jiufen, such as the impression ShueiNanDong golden waterfall. Did you know that it's thought to be one of the most photogenic waterfalls in Taiwan? Don't forget your camera!
To top off this day trip, we'll head to Baoshishan viewpoint, offering us impressive views of the Bay of Two Colours, where we'll enjoy a fantastic sunset.
8.5 hours after the start of the tour, we'll say our goodbyes at either the initial starting point or Raone Street Night Market, whichever you prefer.
