Valley of Geysers Tour
Valley of Geysers Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Tacna at 5 am to start this tour of one of the most important geothermal areas of Peru. You'll see how the early start is worth it!
During the journey to the Valley of Geysers, located in the basin of the Caliente River, we'll cross the district of Candarave and see lagoons whose waters exceed 176°F (80°C).
As soon as we reach our destination, we'll go to the thermal baths of the Valley of Geysers, where you can enjoy its natural pools. The temperature of the water in the pools is maintained by the heat emanating from the earth, and also contains minerals that make soaking in them very beneficial for health.
After enjoying the healing properties of the thermal baths, we'll continue to discover the Valley of Geysers with a tour of the slopes of the Vucamani volcano. We'll see its picturesque villages, the queñual forests, and an impressive volcanic landscape that seems to be from another world.
Afterwards, we'll stop to enjoy a lunch prepared with the geothermal energy of the area!
Finally, we'll return to Tacna and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
