Tacna History Tour (3 hours)
Let's explore the city from a historian's point of view! We'll kick off our tour with a visit to the Municipal Theatre, which was a field hospital during the Battle of the Alliance. We'll also learn all about the importance of this battle. Next, we'll head to the Commission House where the surrender of Tacna was signed after the battle. We'll then visit Zela's House, which was the residence of one of the leaders of Peruvian independence.
Afterwards, we'll take the bus to the iconic Campo de la Alianza monument, which marks the spot where the battle was fought. We'll visit its Arms Museum and then see the Campo Santo, where a marble cross with a poem by Jorge Basadre and Jimenez Borja stands.

Complete Tacna Tour
We'll visit the places in Tacna where significant historic moments took place: the Municipal Theatre, the Commission House where the surrender of Tacna was signed, and the house of the independence leader Zela.
