Montaña de Colores & Laguna Blanca Salt Flat Day Trip
Montaña de Colores & Laguna Blanca Salt Flat Day Trip
At 5 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tacna and kick off our day trip to some of the most beautiful natural areas in the Andean highlands.
To begin, we'll head to the Montaña de Colores in Tacna, which is one of Peru's many multi-coloured mountain ranges. On our way there, we'll pause for breakfast and have a hot drink and a sandwich.
We'll look out at a breathtaking view of this mountain and admire how the minerals accumulated over millions of years have created various shades of ochre, gold and orange.
After enjoying these views, we'll head to the Laguna Blanca Salt Flat. In this magical place, which looks like the union of heaven and earth, we'll learn about the geology of the high plateau. You'll also be able to take some fantastic photos while we're here.
Before heading back to Tacna, we'll stop for a lunch that'll include a main course and a drink. We'll also pay a visit to the Triple Border Landmark, which marks the spot where Peru, Chile and Bolivia meet.
You'll be dropped off at your hotel in Tacna at 6:30 pm.
