Free Tour of Sydney
At the indicated time we'll meet at Wharf 6, along the Circular Quay, and from here we'll start our free tour of Sydney!
First up on our route, we'll spot the Metropolitan St. Mary's Cathedral, dedicated to Sydney's patron saint. Did you know its origins date back to the 19th century? We'll discuss the history of this iconic religious monument as we gradually make our way into the old part of the city.
Next, we'll stroll past St. James' Church on our way to Martin Place, a space that houses the Reserve Bank of Australia. We'll learn about its links to the Commonwealth as we continue walking to the Sydney Harbour waterfront.
From here, we'll move on to explore The Rocks area, a neighborhood home to some of the oldest pubs in the city. Its charming narrow streets and views of the Bay Bridge are sure to win you over!
Then, we'll admire the exterior of the Sydney Opera House. This World Heritage Site building was inaugurated in 1973 and has since become a symbol of Australia.
Finally, after 2 to 3 hours of sightseeing, we'll bring the tour to a close.
