Colo-I-Suva Waterfalls + Nature Tour
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your accommodation in Suva or the cruise ship terminal. There, you'll be greeted by your friendly guide before heading into the wild, the Colo-I-Suva Forest Park, located just 10 minutes from Fiji's capital.
Upon arriving, you'll have the chance to take a refreshing dip in one of the natural swimming pools. Then, we'll set off on a stunning nature hike, where we'll see all sorts of native Fijian flora and fauna. As we walk, be sure to keep your eyes peeled and your ears open, as we'll be able to spot the many native birds that inhabit the Colo-I-Suva Forest Park. The Collard Lory, Pacific Kingfisher, Golden Fruit Dove, Fiji Whistler and Jungle Myna are just some of the local bird species we'll have the chance to see on this tour.
Afterwards, we'll begin travelling along the stunning local waterfalls, where we'll make some stops so that you can take some amazing photos. Within the park, there are two pristine and crystal-clear waterfalls, one of which is the 15-metre-deep Waisila Falls. With the great depth of this pool, it is the perfect spot for swimming and diving. Once there, you'll have the chance to do just that. You'll be able to enjoy another refreshing dip, as well as a delicious barbecue or picnic lunch underneath the shady canopy of the trees above. Listen to the sounds of the nature that surround us and take in the beautiful views!
After between 2 to 3 hours, this tour of Fiji's Colo-I-Suva Forest Park will come to an end back at your hotel or the cruise terminal. Until next time!
