Sucre Private Tour

When making your booking, you'll be able to choose from the following options. Both include hotel pick up and drop off, transport by minibus, an English speaking guide and entry to the places visited. You can read all about the details of each tour below:

Half-Day Tour

At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off on our private guided tour of Sucre, Bolivia's historic capital.

As we walk through its streets, we'll come across the House of Liberty where the first Bolivian constitution was drawn up. We may also see the Treasury Museum, depending on opening hours. In this museum, we'll see a spectacular collection of jewels and precious stones.

We'll also visit the Convent of St. Felipe Neri and its beautiful terraces before visiting the origin of the city, which is La Recoleta Church.

From La Recoleta, we'll admire an incredible panoramic view of the whole city centre. You'll also soon see why Sucre is also known as the White City. Afterwards, we'll go to the Museum of Textile Art to learn about handicrafts in Sucre.

Having spent 3 hours exploring Sucre, we'll accompany you back to your hotel and say our goodbyes.

Full-Day Tour

If you'd like to spend even more time exploring Sucre, perhaps our full-day tour is the best option for you! After we've picked you up from your hotel, we'll stroll into the old town and learn all about the city's history and fascinating traditions.

Our first stop will be at the House of Liberty, where we'll discuss a document that holds great significance in Bolivian history.

Next, we'll visit the beautiful Convent of St. Felipe Neri and La Recoleta Church. The city of Sucre was founded in this church by the Spanish Empire in the 16th century. It was originally named "La Plata" and was the first city in Bolivia.

From the church's viewpoint, you'll be able to snap some magnificent photos before we continue exploring the city. So we can continue learning more about Bolivian art and culture, we'll visit the Treasury Museum, the Colonial, Anthropological and Modern Art University Museums or the Museum of Textile Art.

Before the end of the tour, we'll pause at Simón Bolívar Park to admire the two triumphal arches and the obelisk.

After 6 hours of sightseeing, we'll take you back to your hotel.
