Sucre City Tour
Sucre City Tour
At 9:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel to start this tour of Sucre, also known as the White City of Bolivia.
The tour will start at the Central Market, where we'll see numerous stalls selling typical products. Then we'll continue through the neighbourhood of La Recoleta, which takes its name from the convent of the same name. This district preserves the old layout of the city of Choquechaca. In this area of Sucre, we'll learn about the history of the city, whose origins date back to colonial times.
Next, we'll go to the Textile Art Museum and then visit the 25 de Mayo square, where the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe is located, a temple that perfectly combines Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassical and Neo-Gothic styles.
Afterwards, we'll take a break so that you can have lunch on your own and enjoy the local food. In the afternoon, we'll visit the terraces of the convent of San Felipe Neri, where we'll have a magnificent panoramic view of the city of Sucre, an unbeatable place to end the visit.
Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel, arriving at 4:30 pm.
